The full trailer to Tyler Perry‘s latest offering as his trademark Mabel “Madea” Simmons and it is quite a hoot!
In Boo! A Madea Halloween, Madea is asked by her nephew Brian (also played by Perry) to keep an eye on his daughter Tiffany, who is in the midst of going to a party. The gun-toting, foul-mouthed matriarch soon finds herself taking on not only the smartaleck kids, but killers, ghosts, goblins, and zombies!
The film co-stars Cassi Davis, Patrice Lovely, Bella Thorne, John West Jr., and Diamond White. The idea came from when Perry played himself as Madea in a fake trailer called “A Madea Halloween” in the 2014 Chris Rock film Top Five.
As a matter of fact, the poster for the film pays homage to the John Carpenter classic Halloween.
Boo! A Madea Halloween is coming to theaters this October from TPS and Lionsgate.
