With the departure of Seth Grahame-Smith a while back, Warner Brothers were on the hunt for a new director to tackle their solo film adaptation of The Flash. The company has found their new director in Rick Famuyiwa.
Famuyiwa is best known for his directing dramedies such as The Wood, Brown Sugar, Our Family Wedding, and recently, the acclaimed Dope.
Ezra Miller will play the Scarlet Speedster in the film. Miller made his debut as the character in two scenes shown in Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, one scene in costume, the other sans costume.
The Flash has a set release date of March 16, 2018.
