Yesterday, three teaser trailers arrived in the form of an upcoming web series and two major motion pictures.
Street Fighter: Resurrection – Coming in March 2016, this is the follow-up to the very successful web series Street Fighter: Assassin’s Fist. The series is coinciding with the release of Capcom’s upcoming video game sequel Street Fighter V.
The series is set ten years after Assassin’s Fist, and will feature Mike Moh and Christian Howard returning to the roles of Ryu and Ken. The teaser trailer features a familiar face to the SF universe, Charlie Nash, who will be played by Alain Moussi, the star of the upcoming Kickboxer: Vengeance.
The Legend of Tarzan – Coming July 1, 2016, the legendary hero returns in a new film from director David Yates (Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows).
True Blood‘s Eric Northman himself, Alexander Skarsgard plays Tarzan, who has since returned home as Lord Greystoke John Clayton III, who has married longtime love Jane, played by Margot Robbie. When he returns to the jungle and revers back to his old ways when there is a nefarious plot run by Colonel Leon Rom, played by the always great to watch Christoph Waltz.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows – Coming June 3, 2016, the “heroes in a half shell” are back in a new adventure that truly pays a nod to the original 1980’s cartoon.
In addition to Megan Fox returning as April O’Neil and Will Arnett returning as Vernon Fenwick, new cast members include Stephen Amell as Casey Jones, Brian Tee as the Shredder, Tyler Perry as Dr. Baxter Stockman, Stephen “Sheamus” Farrelly as Rocksteady, and Gary Anthony Williams as Bebop. The team of Alan Ritchson, Pete Ploszek, Noel Fisher, and Jeremy Howard return as the turtles with Johnny Knoxville returning to voice Leonardo.
Look out for all three in 2016!
